Hi, I’m Lauren Mecum, a San Diego wedding photographer specializing in editorial, candid, and film-inspired imagery. With a background in photography, styling, and videography, I bring a creative, storytelling approach to every wedding and session I capture.

I believe wedding photography should feel both artistic and true to life—a mix of natural moments, photojournalistic storytelling, and editorial portraits that reflect who you are. Over the years, I’ve photographed everything from intimate beach elopements in California to destination weddings abroad, always blending digital and film photography to create timeless, elevated images.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m gathering inspiration from dance, travel, and everyday life—always looking for ways to bring fresh energy and creativity into my work.
